Nicchu Co., Ltd. founded in 1959, has been able for long years to contribute to society as
specialty manufacture of surface processing equipment. We supplied has reached several tens
of thousands of units.
We have been given many technical research themes regarding surface processing from our
users. “Development of hardware based on hi-tech and software based on flexible concept(HH&
FS)” a motto of our company, Nicchu leverages the results of its own research and development
together with extensive experience and expertise gained from installations and applications all
over the world to provide competitive business value to its customers.

History of company

1959　Company established and sales began as a forging company with facilities, machinery and
　　　 equipment,surface processing equipment, and abrasive material (shot, grit).
1960　New plant completed in Chiba prefecture and machinery production started.
1966　LPG cylinder blast machine development and sales
1970　Abrasive media factory established in Tochigi prefecture.
1979　Commenced the manufacture of forged steel shot and grit.
1980　Company capital increased to JPY80 million.
1985　Introduction of FA into factory production line.
1991　Start joint development with the Railway Technical Research Institute for the injection system
　　　 “Cerajet”.
1992　Started development and sales of an automatic air blast machine series for the internal surfces
　　　 of hydraulic bulbs.
1993　Delivered blast machines for semiconductors (CPU metal skin).
1997　Installed a pulverulence blast machine for electronic parts, PAM-700
　　　 *Function of automatic injection adjustment accommodated to abrasive materials of 5 to 3μm.
1998　Installed the world’s largest blast test machine accommodating pulverulence.
1999　Sum total of overseas deliveries rose above 500 units.
2002　Introduction of the laser machine for (W)1500mm x (L)3000mm
　　　 Have been approved by LRQA to ISO 9001:2000
2004　Development of PAM-300 and 400 series of the blasting machine which corresponds on the
　　　 compact fines and also start of sale.
2007　Blasting machine for peening was delivered more than total of 600 units.
　　　 The jetting device called “CERAJET” for railway that injects improving adhesion　material was
　　　 delivered more than total of 8000 units.
